With the tag line “Ditch the Desk,” our friends at Communications Strategy Group came to us with the idea that they wanted to produce videos that would entice their male audience to ditch their desk and enroll in one of the many eco-friendly programs their client, the Ecotech Institute, has to offer. 

Zerosun set out to concept and develop two :30 spots: Wind Energy and Solar Energy. Under the direction of James Joliat, Director and Executive Producer, Zerosun created storyboards and scouted locations. The only thing left to do was shoot. We hauled our crew and equipment to the middle of nowhere; Limon, Colorado.

With a sense of humor and a forecast for wind, we were able to get some great shots.

Next stop: Denver International Airport, where you’ll find not just a runway full of planes, but a field full of solar panels. With our storyboards developed and our shots complete, our editor went to town to produce two powerful spots for the Ecotech Institute’s “Ditch The Desk” campaign. With raving reviews from the client, Zerosun has their eyes set out on the next eco-friendly production for the Ecotech Institute. We are excited to see how the launch of these videos resonate with the audience and how, because of the success of these videos, Ecotech further develops a media plan to produce more eco-friendly program videos for the likes of future students.
